2010 Sukma Games
The 13th edition of Sukan Malaysia, a.k.a Malaysia Games was held in Malacca City and some other places in Malacca. This edition was the best edition held by a state. It was said by Minister of Youth and Sports, the next edition will be held in Kuala Lumpur.
==Prelude==
This is the 13th edition of Sukma Games since its introduction in 1986. It was for the very first time the state held such a national sporting event. At that time, all states held their respective Sukma Games except for Perlis and Kelantan.
Prior to this games, Malacca has yet to host any Sukma Games. As this is the first time the Malaysian heritage state held such a grand national sporting event, many of the sports venues and facilities were freshly completed or renovated.
